    "IMO, the findings do make sense, high IQ likes a challenge and making money in the stock market is a challenge - albeit an exciting one."

    IMO higher IQ investors that are willing to take calculated risks will generally invest more/put more thought into their investments no matter what the investment vehicle is. Each class is different investing in long term property is no different to investing in solid blue chip shares. Speculating in mining town properties is no different to spec shares. The investments are just in different investment classes.

    Does owning nothing but solid blue chip shares, make you any better investor than a decent long term property - no.
