I thought you may have been joking, but I wasn't sure, many people still think that capital losses can be offset with normal taxes.

If these idiots tinker with CGT further? then I believe that would also make my Capital Losses worth more as well, if they decrease the percentage, i.e from 50% to 40% say, then it should follow that the loss should move the other way, instead of 50% it should be 60% to maintain the same relativity, anyway if they do introduce a change to CGT, it shouldn't be retrospective, surely they aren't that stupid, then again?

There are still plenty of voters out there who vote for the ALP and still hold shares, I used to be one of those, that was until I saw that the labor party didn't really support the worker at all really, they support all those that don't want to work it seems.
