energy content or calorific value had increased by up to 40% — up from 15MJ/kg to 21MJ/kg
were cheaper to transport as the moisture content was reduced by up to 60%
increased commercial boiler efficiency by up to 7%, meaning less fuel is needed by the customer
produced less ash as less fuel was needed
emitted up to 6.5% less CO2"
