Its a bit more complicated than that. Told by whom? Were they credible or just another partisan in a struggle between old pals (actually best friends according to the court docs, in fact Billis was even the other fellows best man and gave him expensive gifts? This seems very personal). All the negative comments sadly seem like some sorted of coordinate effort to drag RIM into their mess.
I encourage people to read through the comments of the naysayers - the moved from kicking the board, to kicking the resource, to kicking the funding. They have zero credibility as independent reviewers of the situation.
This is not to say things don't need clearing up - they clearly do - but lets try and see through the tendentious fug.
