That, "the previous debt was only paid off by the liberals because they sold Telstra to the public at an over inflated price"..
(1) The Telstra money was only a small portion of the debt repayment, not the total repayment..
(2) The sale price of each was only relative to the market conditions at the time of sale.. Remember after T1 & T2 the S/P went to $9.40 and after T3 in the high $4's, ample time for any one that bought, at any level, to lock in profits..
