You make a fantastic point olddiz - we, as shareholders, are the owners of the company, and it is fair to call management accountable when promises are not fulfilled. This is too often forgotten, and in past weeks commentators here have been berated by others for suggesting as much.
This being said, would the presentation facilitate your decision at this stage, or go so far as to change your mind? I would suggest that there would have to be some horrendously large red flags to make shareholders consider voting against the acquisition. Based on the facts put forward in the prospectus, various announcements, and other streams of information, the approval of the acquisition appears to be a more favourable outcome than not.
