I think we are all well and truely sick of reading such posts let alone debating. Askin will probably retire and when he does, it will be with his head held high and dignity in tact. In the years to come, Im sure that he and the Board will receive the credit that is due for not only approaching Cottee, apointing him CEO and MD and moving a resolution to appoint him as a Director, but also for having the guts to say to a mate 'enough is enough' when a simple apology was too much to ask.
