Mate. it’s really not sophisticated. That’s what the hilarious part is - you thinking that. Even kids grasp this stuff. What is it about most aussies here that can’t wrap their lead-poisoned smooth brain around derivatives that play a massive role in how markets work?
Then they tell ‘cringe’ when someone points them to a source that teaches basic strategies someone could use to make income off their holding. You got people here with thousands of shares just letting it go down. And that’s fine, but if only they knew about covered calls and how they could easily make money off it and keep their shares and hey maybe build on that position if they wanted to.
