IMO QVT have been calling the shots ever since the board spill - they could probably have taken TZ under on a number of occasions by calling in interest payments, or not stumping up cash support.

Like it or not, we are in practical terms governed by a dictator - fortunately, to date, a benevolent one.

If they have some dastardly plot in mind, as several of the conspiracy theorists have suggested, they seem to have a strange way of going about it.

It is what it is - TZ's survival is dependent on QVT's support, so of course they know a lot more about what's going on than the rest of us.
