I'm not surprised it wasn't announced on the ASX because there really wasn't anything market sensitive. If I had a valuation model, the announcement wouldn't have changed things.
I thought the positive was actual communication to shareholders (outside of when they have to e.g. half year and full year results). Previous management said nothing and when they did, it was downgrades. So this is a welcome change.
