Hi Old cruiser,
Mrs MTW and I have only just returned this afternoon from the Gold Coast. Had a great night out at the casino - show, dinner, a game (or two) of poker and travelled all over and lunched and dined all 'round the place for the whole stay... brilliant food and not over the top prices. Nice weather too.
Pity about the high price and low standard of the Mantra on the park though. (It was such a downer! Never again)
We haven't spent our divi from the sale yet, but I have a feeling the mr's was just having a dummy run... We'll go again on my way up to Cloncurry. I'll leave her there to shop while I check-out the mining scene for a few day's.
Felt good to spend a little cash in a state which could use some more of the tourist dollar.
