If OEL were made an offer, I think the premium would have to be substantial to get the two major shareholders to move...couldn't see it happening anyway until/if at least one or both of the carried wells in SC55 turn something up, or the 3D shows up a massive gas cap.
At the moment, the only proven reserves to be bought up are Galoc + it's debt, and the Turkey gas...hardly a bonanza for a predator seeking to add reserves.
Then again, if Argentina turns up a surprise later this year..who knows?
