Whut - argh, nobody is suggesting that the Chinese steal the gold - of course they will pay for it. Cash is not the issue for the Chinese they are drowning in US dollars for which to pay for gold.
They want to ensure access to market for gold. They dont care if FML makes 1 cent in profit - the size of this deal checjen feed for them.
And I dont believe there is any real reason for them to takeover FML either which will at least see minority shareholders paid out. As long as they control FML, they get what they want.
