    Hi All

I’m over-committed and 50 per cent underwater. As the great Bob Dyer so eloquently put it, I find myself impaled on the horns of a dilemma: Is buying more averaging down? or throwing good money after bad?

To be frank, I’m no longer sure. Rationally, FAR should be okay if finance can be finalised. The asset is valuable - and more than likely understated given the conservative recovery rate quoted - and there remains shed loads of exhaustively discussed upside.

I admit, though, I’m finding it difficult to dismiss the irrational thought that FAR is somehow jinxed and that it’s largely because it carries my lead in its saddlebags. After 11 successful wells, and a virtual full recovery in the OP, how on earth do we find ourselves at 4.3 cents with 10 billion shares? This irrational part of my brain suspects a PE loss (likely IMO) will deliver another kick in the guts, rendering 4.25 cents redundant.

    So am I buying more?

I’ve squibbed it - told my broker to do as he would were he in my position.

I suspect the status quo might prevail.

    OOO

PS: This once great forum is a pale shadow of its former glory.
