Why anyone would compare FAR with CVN is a complete mystery , FAR made it's discovery in 2014 almost 4 years before CVN and the shareprice reacted in much the same way at the time of discovery, however FAR then endured a major collapse in the oil market during the expensive evaluation phase, hence raising under very poor circumstances, and has since had a duster with SAMO .
The SNE field is much bigger , its more complex , its much more expensive, the development longer , its in deeper water and its in Africa...its absolutely pointless making comparisons , dlfferent Companies, in different timeframes , different circumstances and in different Countries.

If SAMO had been a success the situation would be considerably different, it wasn't , such is life when when exploring...the option is to do nothing ...CVN made it's discovery and subsequent evaluation during a improving oil market and in Australian waters, well done, thems the breaks...

You either tough the current situation out or you sell and move to CVN or whatever, FAR has never indicated anything else than a desire to take their 13.7% interest to production and that is where any value lies, they wont be selling an asset of this quality for peanuts because it's having tough times, its a long term investment and always has been and there are oportunities to average down for the brave.
