..........apologies - XER's name was changed to Whalsay Engineering - a number of XEL's directors and senior management team continue to work for the company. Such loyalty to the shareholders who made it all possible and whose funds were pi55ed down the drain by these incompetent people, who continue to be paid. The whole debacle should have been turned into a case study illustrating the incompetence and dishonesty of many listed company directors. The kingpins pocketed £4m each by selling shares at top prices when they should have been going to the market for enough funds to see the company safely through to production.
Regulators (inc the OGA) didn't want to know and refused to provide a truthful account of anything. Politician wrung their hands in dismay and shed crocodile tears whilst doing the square root of naff all.
