I think that hybrid investors like MIS investors often wake up too late to really do something. IMO this is over and has been for some time. How can you get funding to build a mill in this climate - The $120 million investment is already in the company it will need far more than that to get the mill off the ground and I dont see any political party wanting to be the party that funded the mill right now or probably in the future.

I think the fact that they need to be out of their premises by the end of the year says it all - IMO unlikely to go anywhere other than into administration.

Wooduk - we used to fight about forestry and you have been proved correct in the days of Timbercorp , Great Southern and even Willmott and now the last is at a crises point. Our forests will by and large be run and owned by offshore entities IMO.
