I do understand the strategic reasons for propping up the SI. Nevertheless, the morality and integrity of any fledgling nation should be important to them as well. If we just hand over money and allow them to crap in our face we should at least use our influence and advise them of the folly of behaving that way. They need investment to prosper and nobody will risk good money if this is how it plays out. Not even the Chinese!
