Like Coalspur, Mirabella Nickel is backed by Ian Middlemass and Colin Steyn. Steyn holds a stack of shares in MBN through Lancaster Park SA and MBN's SP has risen very quickly in recent months. There's a lot of takeover talk on MBN stock threads but it is also beating its production forecasts so that may account for the rise too.
Steyn recently used his own cash to participate in a placement to MBN at $1.60, even though the issue left him with a diluted stake.
The point is that whether Steyn and Middlemass sell CPL pre-production or are still in when the first tonnage sails for Asia, these guys have an exceptional record. Anyone who holds CPL now is almost certainly going to make very good money if they are patient and (DISCLAIMER) nothing bad happens.
