The Day traders are generally getting chewed up by this at the mo. A decent buyer generally does not show his hand, and certainly does not sit on the bid, but allows the offer to build, and then tries to lift it without upsetting everyone.

This mornings action at 10.07ish was a perfect example, two very obvious day traders offering 250k at both 6 and 7, mostly lifted, (and it wasn't the buyer that then joined the bid with 650K).
