Had another couple relate to me today their first share purchase experience. Bought a speccie on a tip and when asked by the tipster about it a year after and how well it went, found out they were told when to buy, but not when to sell and had missed the run.
Then regaled how the investment property had gone up and was essentially a '3 bagger' LOL
