big problem with the market is it's gearing - it accentuates your success and mistakes. It will give you the same responsibility as any 2IC for you to make or brake your cash with. Got some insight?, a tip? some wisdom from grandpa to give you an edge? - then like all other walks of life you will do well. Jumping in over your head with false confidence gained by D-grade wins....ouch.
That said the stockmarket is simply is life leveraged - no point ignoring it as you ignore involvement in the companies you shop with. - Why give it to the banks? - so get an edge and make some money, try not to lose too much while you figure out how it all works let alone what to do next.
