Agree in a general way with your sentiment Bluetooth. Your comment above along with your later comment referring to going back 10 years, I'd probably go back a little further, are particularly relevant when referring to a time before on-line trading was available. That has created the ingrediants for a lot of volatility in the market. It makes it hard to buy a large number of shares knowing that a few days down the track you may save yourself or may HAVE saved yourself several thousand dollars. And while I've always been a long term investor I've been left to rue that I didn't sell stocks when they peaked. It's cost me a lot of money I'm afraid.
Ironically AVB has been my exception as I took a great profit at 22.5 & 23c so it's hard to blame holders for trading.
