I agree, everyone has a right to be PO'd at AS. At one time, the Company had reached a market cap of almost US$500 million. On the day the Company announced the Amgen deal, the market cap reached approx. US$212 million, about a 55% decrease from its high point, and the Company had over US$50 million in the bank. This should have been something to celebrate for shareholders and should have led to better days.
The day the Amgen deal was announced was AS's last day in charge of Unilife's future. New management took over with a brand new Amgen deal in place and $50 million plus in the bank. Today the market cap is around $30 million, about 15% of what it was when AS was no longer running the show and the steady price decline in recent days suggests the Company's best days are behind them.
While AS deserves to be criticized, this new group should not be extolled for their accomplishments.
