I do not hold shares in this company but have been looking...

I do not hold shares in this company but have been looking closer and closer at it over the last month. There would appear to be a lot of shares on issue , however the possibilities of the various wells paying off soon would be also possible . My question is are the number of shares on issue so great as to negate any substantial increase in the share price regardless of how well the company does even if the gas price rises as much as many think.
