My accountant went off and joined the enemy (ATO) this year and he suggested I do my own return, I downloaded E-TAX and started plodding through it, half a dozen phone calls to E-TAX for guidance and 4 hours later it was lodged , 9 days later the refund was in the bank. I didn't have a lot of trades but did have 20 companys with divs.
Will be doing the same next year, worth the effort.
