I'm not keen on the idea of Eden issuing more shares at a discounted rate either. But this is not uncommon and in the long(er) term can pay off as the directors will feel more obliged to perform for their maties who will now own a substantial amount of shares. (JML did the same several months ago and look at the price now)
In this case I can't see a genuine reason for Eden issuing more shares. I will most definately be voting 'NO' more so as an objection than expecting a turn around.
