sadly, the biggest solar subsidy project is the disaster in germany,demanded by the german greens. first----northern europe?.solar with their winter?. on a resource allocation basis,german subsised solar pushed the demand [therefore price] of solar inputs beyond reasonable levels. the only positive, is if the discretionary spending of the sniffy yuppies would otherwise have been wasted on a zero return house reno,then a pitiful return on solar is better than nothing,[but not by much] ----and telstra will be well rewarded for their campaign support.
