It is quite amazing that no company has recently made a takeover bid for Lynas.
The Wesfarmers bid was fortunately rejected in 2019 and for a successful bid today bidders would need to start at $16, up 100%.
You might say well ‘that’s a bit high ‘but this is no ordinary company.
The prestige and power that this absolutely essential and unique business offers an ordinary company ,like Rio for instance is immense.
It seems someone might be trying to keep a lid on the LYC SP.
Well,eventually the SP will rocket when expansions are complete.
Walletinvestor predicts $22 by 2027-conservative really.
If that’s the case then a takeover of $16 now might be cheap!
