I hear if we turn up tonight to Paramatta Town Hall we'll be prevailed upon to overturn our Government and Constitution immediately, and replace it with a Sharia Law based Constitution. Yes, we'll be told, we need laws including stoning and the chopping off of hands.

This spruiking comes courtesy of some Aussie born Muslim convert who wants us all to see the light as he says he has. Used to be an Aussie boy from the bush - but is now the Sheik of Araby or some such. Forget his name - used to be Shane something. Best forgotten I think.

But he's allowed to hold the event - so can't be any protests from him and his disciples about lack of freedom of speech.
