I agree with you that it's probably too late to do much about the ones already here. It's quite a dilemma to be in as if nothing is done,over time we hand over our society to an alien culture and if anything is done, it presents a cause celebre' for the PC brigade to get in on the act, feel full of importance and proceed to turn our society into two warring camps.
Given that it's not rocket science to see what effect unassimilable cultures have, the question has to be asked, whose interests does this situation serve?
