I think this serves the left quite well. As has been see in Tasmania, over a period of 10 years they have chipped away at the big blocks where now they have the balance. While the mere mention of sharia law should bring out the feminists and the like screaming in defense of women's rights, there is deafening silence which can only be taken as quiet approval of the dismantling of the big ideas that have forged our country. In summary, it's not surprising to find the left and Islam as strange bed-fellows.
