If I lived in Israel (no chance but anyway if I did) then I would want these surrounding countries disarmed too.
Most of these muslim countries are dedicated to the total destruction of Israel, they hate Israel deeply and passionately.
Whether or not the US should attempt to disarm them is another question, I am looking from an Israeli's point of view and disarming the neighbours makes sense.
