    Yes, the generally bearish mood does weigh upon the market.

    This is why stop-losses get taken out and a kangaroo tail is formed.

    If you look at the overall market activity today regarding CDO you will notice that the stock closed at $4.54 after touching an intra low of $4 and opening at $4.76.

    This action is NOT typical of global-factors-initiated bearishness. This action IS typical of stop-loss selling swamping the market over a very short period of the day....maybe even only 20 minutes. When something like this occurs, the buy side can not come in quick enough to match the sell side. As the buy side dries up the sell side continues to look to match sellers at even lower prices. It is self perpetuating. It happens quickly and is a result of mechanical or computer generated trading.

    To get a full handle on market activity, I sugget you compare the CDO activity with the RIO activity. RIO is going lower on global factors. CDO is not.
