Agreed. But if my memory serves me well, Ehud Barak, the former Prime Minister was going to give up almost 98% (Palestinians say 95%) and half of Jerusalem.
Do you have any idea what it means when Jew offers half of Jerusalem..........to a mythical nation that has a 60 year history? Or even if was due to the religious beliefs........1,200 year old association.....and Jerusalem is not even in their top 2 religious cities!
If that is not a compromise loaded in favour of the Palestinians, I don't know what is.....so they'll argue whether they are getting 95% or 98%.....but they could have been offered 50% of the disputed territories.......but no.....they want 100%

It could have been settled 3 years ago. Arafat walked out....He didn't even bother to come up with a counter offer.
Plus, with all the documents that the Israelis have found implicating Arafat in terror and illegal arm smuggling.....what else can Sharon do...when he knows the true intentions of the enemy?
Sharon could make peace tomorrow....if the Palestinians only had an equivalent of Sadat. The world said the same about Menachim Begin...he was a man of war etc etc.....but when Sadat made an honest move.........Israel responded....Didn't compromise at all with Egypt......Gave back every square inch that it had won in 3 wars.
That's the tragic truth that Sharon must deal with as will any future democratically elected leader of Isarel.
If the left winger Labor leader Barak couldn't achieve it, how the hell can anybody?
Until Aradat passes from the scene........the fresh blood will see the corruption that's been going on behind the scenes....and the Palestinian pennny will drop.
They'll work out.....that they've been taken to the cleaners and have nothing.....absolutely nothing to show for it......
