Burning fossil fuels for energy is especially stupid today. First of all, they are FOSSIL fuels, once they are gone, they are gone forever. There is only a limited supply and it is running out. Coal should be used as a source of carbon ore, petroleum dedicated to chemical feedstocks. Burning it is just silly.
