After yesterdays ann. by telstra, Shaw stockbrocking in their morning comments research, lifts their valuation of TLS to $4.99 to $5.00, and suggests that TLS may lift their divy to .30c per annum in 2014.
To me, that now suggests telstra is a short term buy before they trade ex-dividend on 18.2.13, and stick in them for mild growth, while they in turn are very defensive on poor market days.
Also shaw suggests there maybe a chance of some small aquisitions by telstra.
