What would be the difference between a trader and an investor? IMO is just the time they want to hold a stock. As an investor or as a trader there is no wealth creation, work creates wealth. An investor is a long term trader, nut none of us create wealth. The guy exploring in the North WA to get some iron ore is creating wealth, we are just speculating and playing smart asses.

This is a gamble, you can potentially be an "investor" for years and all of the sudden you drop your position just like rubbish. Look at big investors UBS, Maquirie, CBA, etc. Are they traders or investors? they're just playing the game.
