I take your point about unrealistic expectations but I would not mind receiving some "before the event" scenario analysis to avoid the "10am announcement and react hurriedly and incorrectly" situation that seems to be "de rigeur" this week. Scenario one - an announcement on Monday morning showing continued moderate but not necessarily startling progress" Scenario two - same announcement no further gas shows but further target zones imminent. Scenario 3 an announcent this weekend of a good gas strike. I also invite other posters, particularly the more knowledgable ones like Poachu, racs etc to also post not only plausible scenarios but also what they think what the impact on sp should be. By pre-canvassing scenarios, perhaps we can at least reduce the impact of down and up rampers in their attempts to panic us (we, the dweebs)into either direction after 10am announcements.
