If I was running a conference on the make up of the solar system , would I

A: Get in a lot of credible people who believ the Sun is the centre of the solar system and the earth is round.

B: For reason of balance should I also get in a few crackpots from the flat earth society.

Man made climate change is a scientific fact , only those few with a vested interest that exist on the fringes dispute it.

If Gillard got such people on the committee she would be negligent in her duties as PM.

We need people who realise what the threat is so they can make a plan to do something about it.

Denial is not a way forward and why would anyone who is in climate denial want to be on the committee anyway.
