one thing has always fascinated me with most art - particularly movies or plays, but, also poetry, is that life context and circumstance has full on ramifications for how one views such art
take the poem you posted --------------- one gets a totally different emotional response and experience if one has lost or misplaced a loved one, in comparison to if one has freed oneself from a troubled relationship
in the former case - one can be very effected by nostalgia and deep sadness ------------- however, in the latter case, in response to the line "because there's no you" - words seep into the brain that infer 'and, what a bloody good thing that is' - bringing joy and light into ones day
life is poetry - but, poetry isn't life --------- not without context
