There is a small glimmer of hope that a deal will be done that gets NXS off the hook for the Legend - the Transocean 703 is leaving and ConocoPhillips/Karoon did not get to test their new discovery at Poseidon-1.
They have stated that they are looking for a rig and the Legend seems to be a good chance on the basis that she is available and suitable for their well.
NXS may not unload the Legend at $450/day but if they can get out at $350/day they only take a $26 million (US) shave. Possibly NXS will drill their exploration well ahead of assigning to ConocoP.
