Interesting news article here from MIT back in 2019 regards extracting caustic soda and HCL from desalination waste brine. Sounds familiar, but this ain't PWN. A prof of water management at QLD University gets a few comments in, no doubt the CSG waste was in his thoughts. . .

Takeaway is that they were discussing this with companies back in 2019, A lot of folk will be interested in cleaning up brine waste and we have to hope that PWN is first in best dressed.
