You know my thoughts on this... it was probably always the only outcome. Will provide some finality at least. Issue will be whether the original Shell offer ever got dressed up for the ball. (Will be a few filling their boxes down there shortly too you'd think.)
If there's little in the way of upfronts beyond readies for LT and Echuca drillg and what will keep Fowler and Co beavering away at prime rates for the next few years then there may be some disappointment.
If nothing else we'll likely get a little more volatility in the ST and that for the traders amongst us can only be good.
BTW I posted the full article b4 8am but pulled it for the same reasons I normally dont post here anymore.
