I think battery technology will for the most part out do a lot of these big companies.
Give it ten years and hopefully the solar panels will produce much better results in low light and the batteries will supply much more power for a lot longer.
Really I think these big companies are going to make a killing for the first ten years or so and then individual solar will beat them.
Personally Im just waiting for battery technology to get a bit better and cost less and my property will be completely off grid.
