I just wish that AOE would have partnered with BG or Conoco Philips or Petronas, lol.
They didn't even come out and give a lending hand to AOE (their JV partner) to compete against BG at the time. Instead they (Shell) sold their stakes in PES acquired through the JV with AOE, for a quick return.
They didn't even come in, when AOE did the buy of BPT's share of their JV gas, and now they have exercised their pre-emptive rights to buy a stake in it.
Why didn't they forked out the money upfront when AOE did the move.???
As anyone can see, even AOE is determined to go it along and will continue to supply the LNG plant that is independent of Shell. And, they (AOE), are in talks about providing their CSG to Shell's larger project, lol.
Nothing definite there. Only talks. If the JV was solid, there would be no need to talk. It would be a dead set and accomplished result.
