I can't recall saying anything to the effect that shipping LNG from BC would be cost prohibitive.
Given the current prices for gas in Nth Am, I am not too suprised if some look at it, afterall LNG is already shipped from Alaska. Cost of liquification and transport probably similiar for BC as from Gladstone imho, therefore really it is a matter of respective domgas prices and costs of production.
Given the huge Nth American energy market, and the need to switch it from coal, I cannot see the NA domgas price remaining this low long, therefore do not really expect anyone to ship LNG from BC - but then the future is always unpredictable.
I am not aware of any hungry mob of supermajors rushing to float LNG export projects from BC - am I missing something?
