You'll find most of the value of East Resources is in the Marcellus shale area. So 20k an acre is wishful thinking for EF unfortunately.

Stakes84, there are about 5-6 hot shale plays in the US with many others which are OK. EF is the most under developed of the top 6 but from all accounts, seems to be becoming the hottest of all because of a high oil ratio/window. Time will tell.

As for going parabolic, I don't think so. You won't get a 30,000 BOE/d well. It's more a matter of well accumulation which takes time and money (T/O's excluded). The other key factor is producing oil/gas in the US. You don't have to ship it 12,000 miles.
