OMG - talk about make my day and year! What a fantastic outcome. This is exceptional news for MEO and either puts MEO in instant takeover mode all now holds ALL THE ACES. My bet is that any MEO deal with ENI re TS is contingent upon ENI deal with Shell (AND VICE VERSA) - got to really respect the way ENI have played this!
This is why the WRONG asx announcement was sent out just before the Neon merger. The wrong ass release announced that MEO had signed a major deal re TS.
As more news comes to hand the recent sellers will be buyers - this sort of FANTASTIC news will really test the resolve of MEO shareholders wanting to merge with NEON.
Not many ducks to line up now. I wonder what sort of deal has been put in place between MEO and ENI...??!!
