I'm not too sure about intentional tree shaking.

I think it's more the case of patience wearing thin for some. Results were promised months ago and whereas most can see an imminent t/o, others are still clinging on to that glimmer of hope that results might come.

Add that frustration to the fact that many mining stocks are running rampart, then it's inevitable some will dump and hitch a ride on the movers.
